Who's Baking?

Hi, it's me, Paula, and my passion is baking!

I'm a mom, wife, Marine, and before opening Petite Sweets I worked as a legal secretary. I have been baking tasty homemade treats for my family and friends for the last 20 years.

I grew up in New York City where bakeries were just a block away. I loved the desserts and pastries I had there and since I've moved away I've found it challenging to find similar baked goods here. This, along with my desire to eat healthy, inspired me to start baking my own cakes, pies, and pastries.

By now you must know that I love sweets and like most of us, care about calories and eating healthy. Being a mother makes me even more aware of what we are consuming.

As a result, most of my recipes have been adjusted to use less sugar, lower fat milk, unbleached flour, and some recipes use little or no egg yolks.


We use fresh ingredients, the best spices, all natural extracts, and seasonal fruits and vegetables. Yes, you can have your fruits and vegetables and eat your cake too! But don't worry, I did not compromise taste, and of course they are not calorie free, but at least you know you will be eating a quality product. All of our cakes, pies, and confections are made onsite.
